Learning Coach

With over 25 years in education, my work as a teacher, mentor, and coach is shaped by my own early struggles with learning disabilities and barely graduating high school. These experiences sparked my passion for helping others overcome barriers and find their purpose.

After earning a degree in Design & Technology in England and working in the construction industry—where I also completed a Diploma in Construction Site Management—I developed a deep appreciation for practical, hands-on learning. This perspective has guided my work for the past 15 years in alternative education, supporting at-risk youth as they navigate personal and academic challenges, build essential skills, and pursue pathways to higher education and careers in the skilled trades.

Rooted in a relationship-based coaching philosophy, I focus on meeting learners where they are, building authentic connections, and recognizing each student’s strengths. I later earned a Master’s in Education in Leadership and Administration, strengthening my ability to mentor colleagues and advocate for inclusive, compassionate education models.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to equity, access, and empowerment—helping young people find their voice and create meaningful futures.
