LEARNING COACH & COORDINATOR
Megan (she/her) has been a teacher for fifteen years. She loves building connections with students and convincing them that writing and learning isnβt scary. She has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Lethbridge.
Her years of experience as a high school learning coach make her equipt to support students with strategies and tools that will lead them to personal success regardless of the barriers they are experiencing. Along with her experience supporting learners in a high school setting, Megan also designs post-secondary courses and is skilled at helping students navigate content and assignments, as well as learn the research and writing skills necessary to experience success. She specializes in supporting learners with exam preparation, essay writing, project planning, and managing overwhelm with daily habits.
She is a fierce ally for the 2SLGBTQ+ community, volunteers at the Centre for Sexuality in Calgary, and often stays up too late reading. Megan supports students accessing support with MyLearningCoach as a Coach and a Coordinator.
