Mariyam

Mariyam is an educator and Learning Coach with a strong academic background and practical experience in accounting, statistics, and digital literacy. She holds a Master’s degree in Professional Accountancy and is currently completing a PhD in Education, where her research focuses on co-creating inclusive and accessible learning experiences with students and employers in post-secondary education.

Mariyam has supported learners through teaching, course design, and academic advising. She coaches students in accounting, statistics, research and academic writing, and effective use of digital tools, with experience supporting neurodiverse learners, including those with ADHD and learning disabilities.

Her coaching style is structured and approachable, helping students break down tasks, plan their work, and apply strategies they can use immediately. Outside of coaching, Mariyam enjoys exploring nature in British Columbia and staying active through Zumba and Latin dance.
