Liz Helland

Liz Helland holds a Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from the University of Calgary, where she developed a strong foundation in accessibility, inclusion, and disability support. Her experience as an Accessibility Advisor in post-secondary education has allowed her to work closely with students to identify their strengths, navigate barriers, and implement individualized academic accommodations and support services.

Liz is passionate about empowering students to achieve their academic goals by fostering confidence, self-advocacy, and independence. She is committed to creating a supportive and collaborative environment where students feel understood, equipped, and empowered to succeed throughout their educational journey.

Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, as well as travelling and exploring new places.
