Lindsay

B.Ed, M.Ed

Assistive Technologist

With over 25 years of classroom and consulting experience combined, Lindsay has extensive experience in designing accessible and inclusive learning environments for a wide range of learners. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta and a Master of Education degree specializing in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Assistive Technology from the University of Calgary.

Much like one of her hobbies, completing jigsaw puzzles, Lindsay enjoys the challenge of breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable pieces. When a student struggles with a task, she believes it’s not the student themselves, but rather the learning environment, tasks and resources that presents a barrier. By utilizing assistive technology, students can remove these barriers and provide themselves with the tools they need to succeed.
