Joni

Joni holds a Bachelor of Education, a Master of Education in Instructional Technology, and a PhD, all from the University of Alberta. With decades of experience in K-12 teaching, she also teaches at the University of Alberta. Additionally, she is a certified coach from Royal Roads University and an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation.

A teacher at heart, Joni is passionate about coaching students to unlock their full potential and achieve success both academically and personally. Her coaching approach emphasizes creating a supportive environment where learners can build confidence, develop a growth mindset, and master the strategies they need to thrive.

Joni is also a certified nature and forest therapy guide, and she enjoys leading others in forest bathing experiences. In her free time, she loves traveling, cooking, and adventuring,  and especially when combining all three.
