Johanne

Johanne earned her Bachelor of Education from McGill University and began her teaching career in British Columbia. She later completed a Master of Education in Educational Practice at Simon Fraser University. Now residing in Alberta, Johanne remains committed to the field of education and her ongoing journey of learning and growth.

With over 30 years of experience either in the classroom or as a learning support teacher in the K-12 system, Johanne has guided students with diverse learning needs to enhance their academic performance. She will meet you where you are, regardless of your starting point. Johanne is excited to work with you to discover effective ways to organize tasks and develop reading and writing strategies that support your unique learning journey.

When she’s not wandering through forest trails, Johanne is likely immersed in an audiobook or brewing a new batch of kombucha—because who doesn’t love a little science experiment in the kitchen? As a lifelong learner, she is currently taking online Italian lessons as well as exploring watercolour painting… giving stick figures a well-earned break.
