Jett

Jett (they/them) has obtained Bachelor of Science (Honours Physics) from St. Mary’s University as well as a Master of Science (Physics) and Doctor of Philosophy (Physics) from McGill University. Their MSc and PhD research in nuclear physics focused on studying the creation of matter following the Big Bang through computational and theoretical means.

Throughout their time in academia and in the years following the completion of their PhD, Jett has worked as an instructor, private tutor, and teaching assistant where they developed a passion for helping students reach their full potential.

As a neurodivergent person themself, Jett has many years of first hand experience navigating academia and accessing accommodations and support. Jett looks forward to supporting students through their academic journey and strongly believes that a person’s disability should not hold them back from achieving success.
