Jessica completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education at Memorial University in her hometown of St. John’s, Newfoundland. She recently completed her Masters of Education with a focus in literacy studies at Mount Saint Vincent University. During her university years, she worked as a teaching assistant and she taught English while living in France on an exchange program. She currently supports students as an intermediate/secondary teacher in both a junior high and a high school setting. During her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time outdoors, making Cricut projects and watching football with friends (Fins up!).
Jessica has a passion for helping others and she believes in a student-centered approach to help students overcome barriers while learning strategies that work for them. She looks forward to helping students reach their potential with the help of her guidance, organizational skills and support.
