Jackie

LEARNING COACH

Jackie is a passionate public school educator with expertise in teaching mathematics, science, and technology. She holds a Bachelor of Science with a double major in mathematics and biology and a Bachelor of Secondary Education from the University of British Columbia–Okanagan. Jackie also has a Master of Education from the University of Calgary, focusing on digital learning and Indigenous education. 

Her university journey was shaped by overcoming a learning disability following a brain injury, an experience that ignited her dedication to helping students facing similar challenges. Jackie is especially passionate about supporting students to achieve academic success.  

As an alternative education teacher and educational facilitator, Jackie has honed her skills in organization, breaking down assignments, test preparation, and study strategies. In addition to her classroom work, Jackie coaches’ basketball, showing her commitment to student growth both academically and athletically. Currently teaching in British Columbia, she fosters inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive – leading education for a connected world.
