Geneva Desrosiers

Geneva Desrosiers holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Lethbridge, where her studies focused on understanding how social systems shape individual and collective experiences. With a background in professional coaching and K–12 education in Alberta, Geneva is passionate about helping students identify their strengths, navigate challenges, and achieve their academic and personal goals.

Since 2019, Geneva has worked in post-secondary education at Mount Royal University’s Access and Inclusion Services, serving as both an Academic Strategist and Accommodated Exam Centre Coordinator. In these roles, she partnered with students to develop effective learning strategies, set meaningful goals, and navigate accommodation and funding processes. Her extensive experience supporting students within accessibility services provides her with a strong understanding of the barriers students may face and the systems available to support their success.

Geneva brings a collaborative, strengths-based approach to her work, helping students build confidence, develop self-advocacy skills, and create sustainable strategies for success. She is committed to fostering inclusive learning environments that honour diverse identities and experiences, empowering students to thrive both academically and personally.
