LEARNING COACH

Emily (she/her) holds a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning from the University of Ottawa. As a disabilities coordinator and learning strategist at Carleton University, she supports a diverse caseload of post-secondary students with disabilities, including mental health conditions, ADHD, learning disabilities, and ASD. She coordinates individualized services such as academic accommodations and learning strategy instruction while providing empathetic support to help students achieve their academic and personal goals.

Her commitment to disability advocacy and equitable access to post-secondary education is also reflected in her role on the Board of Directors for the Learning Disabilities Association of Ottawa-Carleton. Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends at the cottage in the summer and at the curling rink in the winter.
