Learning Coach

Cody is a mathematics coach with over 20 years of experience supporting students from high school through graduate studies. He is passionate about making complex mathematical concepts clear and accessible, and brings a wide range of effective teaching strategies tailored to diverse learners.

He earned his PhD in Mathematics from the University of Calgary in 2025, along with an MSc in Mathematical Physics and a BSc in Applied Mathematics. During his graduate studies, he served as an instructor for differential equations and supervised undergraduate research in general relativity.

His research focuses on solving differential equations that describe gravitational waves produced by black holes, and he is a published author in the Journal of Mathematical Physics. He is currently collaborating on a textbook project with his mentor. Drawing on both his research and teaching experience, he supports post-secondary students in building confidence, deepening conceptual understanding, and achieving success in advanced mathematics.
