Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Education from the University of Regina, along with a diploma in Hearing Impaired Education from the University of Alberta. She is also a certified associate-level dyslexia educator through the Academy of Orton-Gillingham.
With more than 30 years of experience as a learning resource and inclusion teacher across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia, Carolyn has supported learners from kindergarten through adulthood. She specializes in working with students who are Deaf or hard of hearing and those navigating barriers related to ADHD, learning disabilities, or ASD.
Based in the Okanagan region of British Columbia, Carolyn brings both professional expertise and personal insight as a parent of two college-aged children with disability-related learning challenges. She is passionate about helping students understand their learning profiles, build confidence, develop self-advocacy skills, and gain the independence needed for academic success.
