Amyย holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina. She also earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the American University in Cairo, where her research focused on food literacy in international schools.
Amy brings over ten years of international teaching experience across the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Myanmar, and Bolivia. Her work in diverse educational settings has given her a strong foundation in curriculum design, supporting diverse learners, and guiding students through rigorous academic pathways. She has extensive experience in SAT and ACT preparation, IB Extended Essay support, and one-to-one academic advising, always prioritizing accessibility and individualized learning strategies.
As a coach, Amy blends her deep understanding of educational systems with an empathetic, student-centered approach. She is dedicated to helping students build confidence, develop effective learning strategies, and reach their full potential.
Outside of coaching, Amy is a published freelance writer and poet, and a lifelong learner with a passion for travel, culture, and global perspectives.
