LEARNING COACH
Alex has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mount Royal University, and a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Calgary. Alex has taught various undergraduate lab courses where she was able to develop and deliver instructional material, guide students and watch her students progress and excel. Alex also has experience supporting students with a variety of learning, neurodevelopmental, and speech disorders, and other barriers to learning such as ADHD. She’s spent time volunteering with the Canadian Mental Health Association and the inpatient mental health unit at the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
Alex has a strong ability to combine her knowledge of psychology with her teaching skills to help students reach their goals. She is excited to meet you and support you every step of the way!
