Alanna

Alanna is passionate about helping students reach their full potential by exploring diverse and individualized approaches to learning. She has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBCO), a Post Baccalaureate in Special Education and a Master of Education through Queen’s University.  

She is currently working in the K-12 education system in Kelowna as a learning assistant (LAT) and English language learner (ELL) teacher. Alanna brings both experience and empathy to her role, supporting students with a wide range of needs. She focuses on finding creative, practical strategies to help every learner thrive. 

When she is not in the classroom, you’ll likely find Alanna outdoors enjoying the Okanagan sunshine and keeping up with her two energetic kids!
