MyLearningCoach helps students identify and secure funding for academic services and tools that support their learning journey. These may include coaching, assistive technologies like screen readers or dictation software, and learning supports such as academic strategy instruction, tutoring or note-taking services.
We work with students to assess which services will best meet their academic goals and help integrate these into their grant applications. For example, we guide students in articulating how certain supports will enhance their ability to manage coursework, build confidence, and succeed academically. By ensuring these needs are clearly communicated in funding applications, we help students access the resources that will make the greatest impact on their education.
Students with permanent disabilities may be eligible for either the Canada Student Grant for Students with Disabilities (CSG-D) or the Canada Student Grant for Services and Equipment (CSG-DSE).
