Meet Lindsay, a compassion-focused therapist dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey toward self-discovery, growth, and healing. With a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach, Lindsay creates a safe space for clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and feelings without the fear of judgment or bias.
Do you ever feel like nobody truly understands you? Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, guilt/shame, relationships, trauma, ADHD, or navigating life/career transitions, Lindsay is here to support you. She meets her clients where they are and works collaboratively to help them better understand themselves and achieve their goals. Lindsay also aims to teach coping skills that help build resilience for lasting change outside of sessions.
Drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFT), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Lindsay tailors her approach to each individual’s unique needs and preferences. For in-person sessions, she utilizes animal-assisted therapy and for those who prefer a more active approach, walk-and-talk therapy (ecotherapy).
