Note-taking and Typist Services are designed to support post-secondary students who require assistance with capturing course material or completing written assignments. This service helps students maintain accurate and comprehensive notes, stay focused during lectures, and manage extended writing tasks such as assignments, theses, or projects.
Our Learning Coaches work collaboratively with students to tailor support to their unique learning needs, whether that means taking notes during class, assisting with study notes, or providing typing support for assignments and exams. By providing personalized assistance, students can stay organized, reduce stress, and engage more fully in their academic work.
Note-taking and Typist Services are covered by the Canada Student Grant for Students with Disabilities (CSG-DSE). We work closely with post-secondary accessibility offices to guide eligible students through the funding process and ensure timely access to these supports.
