Erin Anderson

BA, M.Ed, PhD (in progress)

LEARNING COACH & COORDINATOR

Erin (she/her) holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing from Western University and a Master of Education from Wilfrid Laurier University. She is currently completing her doctoral studies at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (University of Toronto), where her research focuses on accessibility and inclusion in post-secondary education. Erin also teaches in Laurier’s Bachelor of Education program and has a background in academic advising and student services.

As both a Learning Coach and Accessibility Coordinator with MyLearningCoach, Erin combines direct student support with organizational leadership. She guides students across Ontario, Manitoba, and those studying with Athabasca University through complex grant funding processes, connecting them with academic and accessibility services tailored to their goals. Erin collaborates closely with post-secondary accessibility offices, coaches, and internal teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and fully accessible service delivery. She also contributes to program development, leads specialized initiatives, and supports ongoing improvements to internal systems.

Erin takes a strengths-based approach to her work, believing that learners are experts in understanding their own needs—and sometimes simply benefit from guided support. She is passionate about reducing barriers, fostering self-advocacy, and helping students develop strategies that allow them to thrive.
