Krystal

LEARNING COACH

Krystal has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Brunswick, a Master of Arts in English and Cultural Studies at McMaster University, and a Bachelor of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. She specialized in supporting “at risk” students and taught for 15 years in schools with highly diverse populations in the Greater Toronto Area.

Krystal spent the majority of her teaching career in adult education teaching and counselling students in alternative schools. She has taught a wide range of learners including new immigrants, people experiencing mental health struggles, neurodivergent learners, and individuals experiencing addiction. Krystal is determined to help all students reach their academic goals.

Krystal believes in equitable and inclusive education for all learners and is passionate about providing a safe and judgement-free space for her students. She is well versed in the multitude of barriers that learners can face when trying to achieve their goals and is excited to help them navigate their path to success.
