LEARNING COACH

Shyloh-Dawn began her educational journey by earning her Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Management degrees, graduating from the University of Lethbridge’s dual degree program. She recently completed her M. Ed through the University of Calgary, focusing on inclusion and supporting and enhancing mental health.

Shyloh-Dawn has been teaching since 2009, both in Alberta and abroad. She currently supports students as an inclusion learning teacher at a high school in southern Alberta. Through this role she supports and empowers all students to achieve success and reach their educational goals. Shyloh-Dawn has extensive experience working with students who are neurodivergent, experience learning challenges, and/or mental health difficulties. Empathetic, compassionate, and well-versed in supporting individuals to eliminate barriers to learning, she is passionate about helping individuals achieve their potential, meet their goals, and thrive. In her free time, Shyloh-Dawn enjoys games, travel, the arts, reading, and spending time with her partner and their two dogs (Finn and Zelda) and cat (Zamboni).
